Before there was the Yoruba Demon Billionaire Club, there was another world I created.
Back in 2020, I organized an anthology that was published in February 2021 called Nights at Club Nova. It featured short stories set inside an exclusive, mysterious nightclub where every patron underwent rigorous screening before entry, wore enchanted masks, and stepped into a world where magic, secrets, and desire intertwined.
My contribution to that anthology was a story titled The Lady of the House and I wrote as Temi Nenye.
It was erotic and so much fun to write.
But even after the anthology was published, Club Nova never really left me. The ‘nameless’ characters stayed with me, and the world kept expanding in my head. Last year, I finally gave in and decided to return—not just to rewrite The Lady of the House, but to reimagine the entire universe around it. The story grew. The mythology deepened. New characters demanded their own stories.
And that’s how House of Nova was born!
An urban fantasy erotic romance series where Lagos’ elite play dangerous games behind enchanted masks.
Five couples. One secret house. Desire has never been this deadly.
The planned series includes:
Book One: TLH
Book Two: TKS
Book Three: TMH
Book Four: TWH
Book Five: TFH
I’ll be sharing snippets from The Lady of the House as I work on it, and I can’t wait to welcome you into this world.
One last confession: these shorter projects have become my creative palate cleanser. Whenever my main novels become emotionally heavy or I feel burnout creeping in, I find myself returning to drafts I’ve long forgotten. It’s where I get to experiment, indulge my imagination, and tell stories that lean into obsession and desire before diving back into my plot-focused longer novels.
Welcome to the House of Nova where;
Every mask conceals a truth.
Every room holds a secret.
And every secret demands a price.

Okayyyyyyy!😍 I'm definitely excited.🤭
